Re: Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves NES Review
At some point every retrogamer will see a review of a well known game he used to love in former times and think like "Hey, wait... it wasn't THAT bad at all!" - this is basically what came to my mind while watching SpoonyOnes rant of "Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves" for the Nintendo.
Don't get me wrong, I really love the original review and I personally think that SpoonyOne is one of the greatest retrogame reviewers out there. But I simply felt the urge to restore some of this game's reputation. Sure, I could have let it pass, since who really cares about such an old game, who was re-reviewed a year ago?
The reason why, besides this inner urge, is that I just wanted to try some things out. This is my first Youtubevideo ever and I considered this a good moment to experiment with the possibilities of videosoftware and old games *g*
Since my mother played Pac-Man on the Atari 2600 while feeding me as a baby, I think I was predestined to become a... RETROGAMER at some point in my life - never let the old game systems be forgotten, because they're the true essence of "gaming" ^^
I hope you enjoy this video.
Special thanks to SpoonyOne - keep up your great work.
